Kay Mumford

Kay Mumford

Director

Kay started her comprehensive career in marketing following a creative background in art college and obtaining a degree in Product Design.

Having worked in marketing for almost 20 years, Kay entered the health and social care sector in 2021 through her roles in software houses – the first specialising in social care and the second in healthcare. This experience gave Kay a great insight into health and social care, including a clear picture of the lack of integration of systems and an in depth understanding of the ways in which AI was being used.

It was during this time Kay found a deeper passion for the care sector. With so many individuals working on products and services which mean so much to them, she believed it felt right to continue to work on marketing within the sector. Being a sector with typically low funding, it was clear that many businesses needed more support while in the infancy of their marketing journeys.

This is why Kay founded Splice of Lime, a marketing agency specialising in Social Care, helping to build the Care brands of tomorrow. Splice of Lime demonstrates Kay’s vision to help shape a future where the word Care is used with optimism, using her experience and skills in marketing to support clients on their journey to create or develop their brand, define their messaging, and develop their brand identity.

With a varied and extensive background in creative copywriting, PR, journalism, marketing and communications, including experience writing for a variety of publications and audiences, Ally has the skills and know-how to produce customised, engaging, creative content for your business.

As a member of the Splice of Lime team, she brings her valuable knowledge and experience from working closely with various clients in the healthcare sector and other niche industries to create the best content possible.

Daniel Dennis

Daniel Dennis

Videographer

Dan is a videographer and photographer who has been helping businesses with their marketing since 2017.

His background is in both long-form videos that are designed to increase the conversion rate on websites, as well as short-form videos specifically designed for social media.

As a member of the Splice of Lime team, he brings a vast amount of media knowledge (and equipment!) from multiple different industries which enables him to be ready for any situation that may need capturing, whether it’s an event, a customer experience or a product demo.

Dan’s style has been developed over the years, and during this time he has picked up many techniques that enable him to assist those who haven’t had much experience in front of the camera, providing a stress-free production for people who are new to photography and video.

When working with people in video it’s really important for Dan that he captures the emotion. He believes that the best way to do this is to connect with individuals on production days and hold genuine conversations with those involved to make them both feel comfortable on camera and achieve an authentic response.

Why Care?

Splice of Lime has a vision to help shape a future where the word Care is used with optimism.
People from so many walks of life require care in their lifetime. Be it short or long term, during old age or before. Once you or a family member has been touched by the sector, you never look at it the same way again.

Despite the often-negative press received, the Care Sector has some of the most passionate and compassionate people around working in it. They have a dream of better care for all.

Helping to build the Care brands of tomorrow.

We want to help as many Care businesses improve their marketing as possible. Why? Because we want these companies to succeed, so that they can improve the services offered. We also want better care for all.

There are hundreds of marketing agencies out there to choose from. Splice of Lime saw a niche in the marketing managed services by sector experts. Agencies often offer services and a promise of great results but can’t deliver. This is because they either they don’t have the industry knowledge, or the groundwork hasn’t been done to convert the enquiries generated.

I’m a Supplier into the Care Sector and would like to find out how you can help me.

I’m a Care Provider and want to know more about what you offer.
